On September 27, 2014, longtime mummer and founder of the Bryson N.Y.B, Joseph “Pop”, “Gootch” Bryson Sr. passed away. Below is the Wench Brigade Association’s statement about the passing of Pop Bryson.
Today the Wench Brigade Association lost a great man , The #1 wench, New Years will not be the same with without Pop Bryson , Pop was awesome person and he always had my back ever since I became President ……….My heart goes to the whole Bryson family , he will be dearly missed by every Mummer……….and this New Years every Wench should have one can or bottle of Schmidts in honor of our most beloved WENCH……….
