   I loved watching the parade I haven’t been to see it.in Philly or able to watch it on TV.People in Pittsburgh don’t know what Mummers are.But I do and it is great to see.

   It gets worse every year. Once women got in the parade, it was all downhill. Now, it is nothing but aTotal crap hole. Gone are the Fancy’s, The Fancy brigades have not been mummers since going indoors. Gone are the Glory days of real mummery of the 50’s, 60’s, 70’s & 80’s. The Great Captains of the past are crying because of what they see now. I am glad I paraded in the yrs. mentioned above. Now it is on it’s last legs, begging to die.Yes, a once great tradition, now only in memories
