The Mummers Museum announced on their Facebook page that the annual Thursday Night String Band concerts held at the Mummers Museum have been indefinitely suspended. Their statement reads:
The Mummers Museum in conjunction with the Philadelphia Mummers String Band Association have decided to indefinitely suspend the Thursday Night String Band Concerts.
In a joint and socially distanced meeting, String Band Association President, Sam Regalbuto and Mummers Museum President, Rusty Martz both agreed to follow the City of Philadelphia and the State of Pennsylvania’s continued restrictions on social distancing and gatherings. Unfortunately for the foreseeable future gatherings such as the concerts will not be permitted. We will continue to keep you updated with any changes as they occur.
