DECADE IN REVIEW — Fralinger String Band won 1st Place in the string band division in 2013 with their haunted theme Back From the Dead. On December 10, 2012 A four-alarm fire destroyed the Second and Wharton streets warehouse in South Philadelphia where the band stored its props and floats. Despite this unfortunate set back, Fralinger went on to win the 2013 string band division.
