Purple Magic N.Y.B is a newly reformed Philadelphia Mummers Fancy Brigade. They are a family oriented club that believes in having fun and performing on New Year’s Day. The original Magic N.Y.B. was founded in January 1992 and was forced to close it’s doors in September 2000. Some of the old Magic N.Y.B. members who were only teenagers then decided to regroup, along with their families and friends to form Purple Magic N.Y.B. Purple Magic N.Y.B is expected to perform at the 2017 Mummers Parade
Purple Magic Joining The Fancy Brigade Division
Hello, I am reaching out to inquire about what you will do with the props and costumes from this year’s performance how sweet it is. I am a Residence Hall Director who loved the performance and am creating an event for college students in early February based on Charlie and the Chocolate factory. We do not have lots of funding for this event but would like to make it as fun and themed as possible for the students to really enjoy. I was wondering if we could borrow any of the props or costumes from your performance? Please let me know either way. Thank you for your time!
