I just wanted to know,…. if you know how much those mummer’s dolls cost. i know there are different sizes, if you can…. can you let me know on all the prices. thanks. I wanted to know also…. did any string band drop out of the march???? I go way back, and I always liked the Italian=American string band…. is there any signs of them forming up again or any other string bands that are not in the march anymore. I always go to the parade and its wonderful….. I keep my fingers crossed so, they can march down Broad st again. starting at Broad and oregon and march down broad St.
Some string bands have disbanded and some merged with other bands in the past. Italian American String Band marched from 1992-1997 and it’s unlikely they will ever be back in the parade. I’m not sure what a mummers doll costs. If you Google “mummers dolls” you can find people who make them.
Go to the Mummer’s museum site and they have the dolls and the cost of the dolls.
Can u get the shows on DVD for the fancy brigade for different years like 1990 and 2003 or more please let me know
