String Band weekend in Wildwood is scheduled for September 5th-7th along Olde New Jersey Avenue in North Wildwood. On Saturday, September 6 the festivities will begin on the street at 3:30 p.m. featuring the Duffy String Band and the Philadelphia Mummers Chorus. The Mummers Strut Contest will begin at 4 p.m. followed by the Mummers Parade at 4:45 p.m. The parade will feature: Quaker City, Hegeman, South Philadelphia, Fralinger, Woodland, Ferko, Avalon, Polish American and Aqua.
