A parade has been scheduled for Wednesday August 27 in Philadelphia to celebrate the Taney Dragons Little League team. The parade is scheduled to begin at 20th and Market streets in Center City at 2:00 p.m.
The parade route will travel east on Market Street, go around the southwest corner of City Hall, and travel south on Broad Street down to FDR Park at Broad and Pattison Streets.
There will be two stops along the parade route: the first at the Kimmel Center where the team will be serenaded by the Philly POPS!, and the second at Broad Street and Washington Avenue where Mummers will perform.
The parade will end with a rally and speaking program in FDR Park near the south side baseball fields, close to I-95.
