This week’s Throwback Thursday is audio of Greater Kensington String Band playing at the 1988 Show of Shows. The show was held at the Philadelphia Civic Center. You’ll hear high energy versions of Für Elise, I Feel Good, Roll Over Beethoven and Congratulate Me. The Greater Kensington won first prize at the 1988 Mummers Parade with their theme “Going For Baroque“.
