Without a six-figure infusion of cash, the Greater Overbrook String Band will probably not be competing for top honors at the Mummers Day Parade anytime soon.
But considering how things were looking for the Upper Darby-based ensemble six years ago, Greater Overbrook is undoubtedly on the upswing.
